Exploring the Beauty Within

PacificSpirit4There are 22 regional parks, 4 regional reserves, 2 ecological conservancy areas, and 5 regional greenways in and around the Lower Mainland, covering 13,650.6 hectares. The habitats and landscapes in each are diverse and unique.

They range in size from 300 hectares at Burnaby Lake to 3700 hectares at Lynn Headwaters. Each one is a place of wonder and discovery.

We hope these pages will give you a taste of what's in store for visitors to these magical places. Click the links on the left to read more about each park. We've included links to the Metro Vancouver site, where you can get even more detail about each park.

One of our goals at Pacific Parklands Foundation is to raise awareness of these parks. We encourage you to visit these natural jewels and explore their value for yourself. And look for our name on various projects throughout the parks, to see how we leverage donations and our relationships with Park Partners to make our parks even better.
