PPF participated in Cycle 1 of the Shell Fuelling Change program in the $50,000 water category from May to October 2011. The top four organizations receiving the most votes for their projects were awarded $50,000 each. PPF was just edged out and finished fifth and received $10,000 for participating in the campaign. The Shell funds were used to raise awareness about the conservation of water and as a result, Shell was featured as one of our key sponsors of our recent 11th Birthday Celebration Lunch which featured Keynote Speaker Mark Angelo--Mr. Rivers--who provided the 165 guests in attendance with an amazing presentation.
Shell Canada has also supported the Catching the Spirit program with $5,000 and $2,500 grants respectively in 2007 and 2009. Thank you Shell Canada Limited!
