Pacific Parklands Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of Metro Vancouver’s regional parks. There are 22 such parks in and around the Lower Mainland, covering more than 10,000 square hectares. In 2009, almost 9 million visitors come to experience the natural beauty of British Columbia through our park system. This volume, and the demand on our parks, increases every year.

While ongoing maintenance and day to day operations of the parks are publicly funded, Pacific Parklands Foundation actively raises funds to expand and improve our parks, in ways that go beyond the basic necessities.

Whether it is a wheel chair accessible ramp in a new viewing tower at Burnaby Lake, or the restoration and enhancement of Camosun Bog in Pacific Spirit Regional Park, we believe in making our park system the best it can be, for ourselves and for future generations.

The Foundation works together with government, businesses, community leaders, other non-profit organizations and groups, and individuals, and we know we can make a difference. We've been doing it since 2000!
