Ever wonder…

…how much water is embedded in your everyday life?

The National Geographic has provided information to give a little insight into how much water you actually use.

The scary part?

They have gone beyond the amount of water you use to wash your dishes, take a shower, have a bath, do your laundry, water your lawn and fill the kiddie pool.

The National Geographic has calculated the amount of water it takes to get your beef, pork or chicken to your dinner plate. However, it does not stop there. You can even find out how much water is required to produce the cotton for your t-shirt!

On the bright side, if you have been struggling to cut back on chocolate–this may be the answer as 1lb of chocolate requires 12,000L of water!
