Happy (early) Easter!

Looking for a fun way to entertain your kids this Easter? I have compiled a list of SOME of the Easter activities going on this weekend throughout Metro Vancouver. They may not be in our regional parks but they do offer an excellent way to spend some quality family time.

Please note that some of these events require pre-registration.

Eco-Easter Egg Hunt at Surrey Nature Centre
Search for Easter eggs in the forest!  Take a picture with the Easter Bunny and enjoy egg-themed crafts, fun activities, tasty food and family entertainment. Every child receives a prize. Bring your Easter basket!

Easter Scavenger Hunt, Richmond 

Go on a scavenger hunt through the Gulf of Georgia Cannery for delicious prizes! Along the way, learn about Steveston’s fishing history!

Easter Scavenger Hunt, Fort Langley
New all-ages Easter Scavenger Hunt. Complete the activities of the scavenger hunt and earn chocolate treats. The all-ages scavenger hunt includes fun activities that will take you exploring around the fort and earning chocolate as you go. The scavenger hunt will take place around the grounds within the fort walls and will be available all day from 10am – 5pm. At 12pm & 3pm kids 5 & under can participate in the “Egg Scramble,” find as many eggs as you can on the giant map of British Columbia. The egg scramble will last until all the eggs have been found. Plus, do fun Easter crafts all day and enjoy an Easter Brunch at the Full Barrel Café, open from 11:00am – 4:00pm.

Easter at Maplewood Farm
Find an egg during the Easter Egg Hunt and get a goody bag. Also, visit the farm animals, go on a pony ride and get your face painted!
