For those of you who have forgotten to turn the page on your wall calendar – get to it!
It is officially April and that means Easter is this weekend!
As you contemplate how to spend the extra time off with your loved ones, please consider the Metro Vancouver Regional Parks. Here at the Pacific Parklands Foundation, we work hard year round to ensure the parks are well-maintained and enhanced to maximize public enjoyment. There is no better way to spend time with family and friends than being active outdoors.
Looking for a specific activity for the kids?
On Saturday April 7, 2012 from 10am-3pm there will be an Eco Easter Egg Hunt at the Surrey Nature Centre. Get your children outdoors while they hunt for Easter eggs in the forest. There will also be pictures with the Easter Bunny, egg-themed crafts, activities and additional entertainment. Every child will receive a prize!
*It is possible to have a younger child join an older egg hunt time.
The event will go on rain or shine and is a cost of $5/child.
