It is that time of year again…
Parksfest 2013 is almost upon us!
In recognition of the efforts of partners, volunteers and staff, join Metro Vancouver for a day of inspiring presentations and practical workshops.
Water, water everywhere…
How can we take care of this very precious resource and ensure its sustainability? Our regional parks are home to countless plant and animal species that depend on the health of our waterways.
Join us as we examine the legacy of water and its importance to healthy regional ecosystems.
Click here for a complete list of presentations.
Sign in is at 8 a.m. Presentations and workshops run from 8:30 am to 4:15 pm; morning refreshments, snacks and lunch are included.
Additionally, during lunch, two very impressive young ladies will receive the Dr. M. Wosk Awards!
Special thanks to everyone involved!
While Metro Vancouver runs this event, it welcomes sponsor support for Fall Parksfest from the BCIT Fish, Wildlife & Recreation Program and of course from us here at Pacific Parklands Foundation!
We would also like to extend our gratitude to all of the presenters who so generously donated their time and the many people who provided assistance and enthusiastic support.
