What are two things Pacific Parklands Foundation is absolutely passionate about? Community involvement and the environment, of course (parks was just too obvious)! That is why I think these opportunities are just too good not to share, especially with those of you who happen to be Burnaby residents.
The City of Burnaby is working on a plan for Burnaby’s green future, the Environmental Sustainability Strategy (ESS). This plan will set out to protect and enhance the City’s ecosystems and environment, and will work together will the existing social and economic sustainability plans.
Guided by a Steering Committee (comprised of an impressive group of people including Mark Angelo), the ESS is now opening a dialogue with the community. This is an open and inclusive invitation for the public, community stewardship groups, experts in various fields and businesses, and others to step forward and give share their opinions. The Steering Committee wants to know what matters to you.
How do you share your opinion?
