The Museum of Vancouver (MOV) is launching a new exhibition on Thursday, February 27th, 2014 called “Rewilding Vancouver“.
The exhibit explores Vancouver’s nature as it was, is, and could be. It is the first major exhibition in Canada to explore our relationship with nature through the lens of historical ecology.
The exhibition is comprised of taxidermy specimens, 3D models, soundscapes, videos and photo interventions that challenge our perception of what is natural to Vancouver.
I am eager to visit this new exhibit in March or April and hope that many of you will take the time to visit as well. After you do so, please feel free to share your comments below!
